Thrust ball bearings

C&U thrust ball bearings can accommodate axial loads only. They are available in single direction or double direction designs. C&U’s industry-leading thrust ball bearings are designed to sustain thrust loads in high-speed applications, while maintaining superior performance. The highest quality materials and manufacturing standards maximize our thrust ball bearings bearings’ durability and service life.

Self-aligning ball bearings

C&U self-aligning ball bearings have two ball rows and a common sphered outer ring raceway. They are thus insensitive to angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing. Self-aligning ball bearings generate less friction and run cooler than most bearings even at high speeds. They are available with either cylindrical or tapered bore.

Precision bearings

As the name suggests, precision bearings are defined by their ability to deliver accuracy and speed, as well as high rigidity. C&U precision bearings are engineered using advanced technologies, high standards, and the most stringent quality assurance measures. This helps guarantee the highest levels of accuracy and rotation speeds and the ultimate in durability. In addition, our advanced manufacturing processes create precision bearings with super-quiet operation and minimum heat generation. These bearings are ideal for a variety of applications and industries and are often employed in process machinery, mills, grinders, cutters, and spindles.

Bearing / mounted units & pillow blocks

Mounted units provide a stable housing for enclosed bearing installations. Pillow blocks are the most commonly used type of mounted unit, as they are made to support a rotating shaft with the mounting surface parallel to the shaft’s axis. C&U mounted bearing units are designed to be compact and extremely durable. They are well-suited for food processing and high-moisture environments, as well as for applications in mining, metallurgy, agriculture, chemical engineering, and conveying machinery, among others. Top-of-the-line materials and construction provide protection from rust and deterioration from harsh chemical cleaning agents.

Magnetic clutch bearings (MCB)

C&U magnetic clutch bearings have the features of two single row angular contact bearings back-to-back but with more compact design occupying less axial space. MCB accommodate high radial as well as axial loads, working in both directions. They enhance unit stiffness and accommodate tilting moments.

C&U magnetic clutch bearings are precision engineered and manufactured using advanced materials and technologies. This enables them to withstand high speeds and extreme temperatures while ensuring maximum performance and durability.

Hybrid ceramic ball bearings (HCBB)

C&U hybrid ceramic ball bearings are engineered to maximize the benefits of precision steel ring construction and light weight ceramic balls. HCBB have excellent electric insulation properties and provide high-speed capability and longer service life than all-steel bearings in most applications. In addition to resistance to electrical arcing these bearings provide low maintenance costs, extended grease life, increased service life and reduced wear from vibration and contamination.

Four Point Contact Ball Bearings

C&U four-point contact ball bearings are radial single row angular contact ball bearings featuring raceways that can handle axial loads acting in both directions. A limited radial load can be supported for a given axial load. They take up considerably less axial space than double row bearings. The split inner ring design enables inclusion of a large number of balls producing a high load carrying capability. The outer ring with ball and cage assembly can be mounted separately from the two inner rings.

Double row angular contact ball bearings (DRACBB)

C&U double row angular contact ball bearings have the features of two single row angular contact bearings back-to-back but with more compact design occupying less axial space. DRACBB accommodate high radial as well as axial loads, working in both directions. They enhance unit stiffness and accommodate tilting moments.

Ball bearings (Single row deep groove ball bearings)

C&U ball bearings are designed for versatility. They are suitable for high to very high speeds and provide robust operation with little maintenance required. C&U design enables the bearings to accommodate axial loads in both directions in addition to radial loads. C&U bearings are available in many configurations including open, metal shields, rubber seals, snap ring grooves, snap rings and filling slots. Ball bearings are the most commonly used bearing type and have applications in virtually everything that rotates at speed.

Angular contact ball bearings (ACBB)

C&U angular contact ball bearings feature inner and outer ring raceways that are displaced relative to each other in the direction of the bearing axis. ACBB accommodate combined loads such as simultaneous acting radial and axial loads. Increased contact angle results in enhanced axial load-carrying capacity.
