C&U Bearings for Heavy Duty OE Industry

Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Ideal for high speeds, high temperatures and high load capacity (primarily radial), C&U cylindrical roller bearings are engineered to minimize friction and increase performance and life cycle in heavy duty applications. They are available in a wide range of bearing tolerances, and are available in single or double row. Available cage materials include steel sheet (pressed cage, Z shape), copper alloy cut cages, pin cages, and synthetic resin-formed cages.

Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Double row angular contact bearings support radial and bi-directional axial loads, though generally possess a lower load capacity than two single-row angular contact bearings. However, their operating life is longer, especially when used in axial load conditions. C&U double-row angular contact bearings are built for durability, optimized to reduce friction and increase tolerances. They are ideal for heavy duty equipment and vehicle applications.

Double Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Ideal for high speeds, high temperatures and high load capacity (primarily radial), C&U double row cylindrical roller bearings are engineered to minimize friction and increase performance and service life in heavy duty applications. They are available in a wide range of bearing tolerances, and available cage materials include steel sheet (pressed cage, Z shape), copper alloy cut cages, pin cages, and synthetic resin-formed cages.

Four Point Contact Ball Bearings

C&U four-point contact ball bearings are radial single row angular contact ball bearings featuring raceways that can handle axial loads acting in both directions. A limited radial load can be supported for a given axial load. They take up considerably less axial space than double row bearings. The split inner ring design enables inclusion of a large number of balls producing a high load carrying capability. The outer ring with ball and cage assembly can be mounted separately from the two inner rings.

Self-Aligning Spherical Roller Bearings

C&U self-aligning ball bearings have two ball rows and a common sphered outer ring raceway. They are thus insensitive to angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing. Self-aligning ball bearings generate less friction and run cooler than most bearings even at high speeds. They are available with either cylindrical or tapered bore.

Slewing Bearings

C&U slewing bearings are designed for very large diameter applications. They can support radial and axial loads as well as tilting movements. They can be equipped with fixing bolt holes, internal or external gears, lubrication holes and sealing elements. The equipment or machinery can thus be designed for compactness, maneuverability, and ease of mounting and maintenance.

Tapered Roller Bearings

C&U tapered roller bearings are used in a wide variety of heavy duty applications and are designed to absorb force and maintain shaft alignment. They are built to run quietly and accurately, minimize friction, excel at high speeds, and provide long service life.

Thrust Ball Bearings

Thrust ball bearings can accommodate axial loads only — not radial loads. There are two types of thrust ball bearings: single thrust ball bearings, which support axial loads in one direction, and double thrust ball bearings, which can support bi-directional loads. C&U’s industry-leading thrust ball bearings are designed to sustain thrust loads in high-speed applications, while maintaining superior performance. The highest quality materials and manufacturing standards maximize our thrust ball bearings bearings’ durability and service life in heavy duty applications.
