C&U Bearings for Engine applications

Angular contact ball bearings

Angular contact ball bearings are designed to support high radial-axial loads at high speeds. C&U angular contact bearings are manufactured using the highest-quality materials for maximum durability and life cycle. Advanced technologies help ensure close tolerances (even at high speeds), quiet operation, and minimal friction and wear. Because of this, these bearings are ideal for high-performance applications in a variety of engines applications.

Ball bearings

C&U manufactures high-quality, high-speed rotation, sealed ball bearings for various applications in a variety of industries in original equipment manufacturing, as well as aftermarket and MRO operations. C&U ball bearings are designed and manufactured to meet today’s OEM requirements for service life, NVH, sealing, and lubrication. To meet our customers’ demands for quality assurance, advanced control systems track our entire manufacturing process from materials purchasing, storage and production to finished product testing and packaging.

Cylindrical roller bearings

Cylindrical roller bearings are ideal for high speeds, high temperatures, and high load capacities (primarily radial). C&U cylindrical roller bearings are engineered to minimize friction and increase performance and life cycle. They are available in a wide range of bearing tolerances in single and double row configurations. Available cage materials include steel sheet (pressed cage, Z shape), copper alloy cut cages, pin cages, and synthetic resin-formed cages.

Deep groove ball bearings

The streamlined design of C&U deep groove ball bearings enables them to withstand high bi-directional radial and axial loads as well as composite loads. This facilitates accurate high-speed operation and low-maintenance performance. Shielded deep groove ball bearings can operate without re-lubrication and maintenance. Bearings with shields are commonly used in automobile engines where low-noise and minimum vibration is essential.

C&U’s cylindrical roller bearings are engineered to minimize friction and increase performance and life cycle. They are available in a wide range of tight bearing tolerances in single-row and double-row configurations. The cages include: steel sheet (pressed cage, Z shape), copper alloy cut cages, pin cages, and synthetic resin-formed cages.

Magnetic clutch bearings

Magnetic clutch bearings are double angular contact ball bearings with an outer and inner ring. C&U magnetic clutch bearings are precision engineered and manufactured using advanced materials and technologies. This enables them to withstand high speeds and extreme temperatures while delivering the performance and durability required by today’s engine applications.

Needle roller bearings

Needle roller bearings are roller bearings with many small cylindrical (needle) rollers, whose length is three to 10 times their diameters. C&U needle roller bearings have been designed to maximize load support and durability while minimizing friction in a variety of engine applications.

Single row deep groove ball bearings

Single row deep groove bearings are the most commonly used type of roller bearing worldwide. Versatility and performance are among their most appealing features. C&U’s single row deep groove ball bearings maximize these features, enabling superior performance at very high speeds and support for significant radial loads and moderate axial loads (in both directions). C&U’s high-tech design also makes these bearings exceptionally quiet during operation, highly durable, and virtually maintenance free. Cages are made of stamped steel (sheet) or nylon. C&U’s single row deep groove bearings are ideal for use in internal combustion engines.

Thrust ball bearings

Thrust ball bearings are designed for axial loads only. There are two types of thrust ball bearings: single thrust ball bearings, which support axial loads in one direction and double thrust ball bearings, which can support bi-directional loads. C&U’s industry-leading thrust ball bearings are designed to sustain thrust loads in high-speed applications. The highest quality materials and manufacturing standards maximize our thrust ball bearings bearings’ durability and service life.
