– Award recognizes supplier excellence for single row deep groove ball bearings used in OEM Starters and Alternators

Plymouth, MI… C&U Americas, LLC, the North American subsidiary of the C&U Group, one of the world’s top eight bearing manufacturers and China’s largest bearing producer, has received the “2018 Quality & Delivery Excellence Award” from BorgWarner Power Drive Systems. The award was given to C&U Americas in recognition of its supply of single row deep groove ball bearings for OEM starters and alternators to the BorgWarner Power Drive Systems plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, during the 2018 business year.

BorgWarner presented the award to C&U Americas in March of 2019 at the BorgWarner production facility in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. On hand to accept the award for C&U Americas were Victor Lopez Navarrete, C&U Gerente Regional de Ventas – Mexico and Mike Caldwell, C&U Americas Quality Manager. The award was presented by Orlando Gomez, Senior GSM General Manager BorgWarner Mexico.

Jason Stocker, President of C&U Americas, spoke on the award and noted, “We are very proud of the recognition by BorgWarner Power Drive Systems for our efforts and commitment.
